Effective coaching starts with recognizing that there's no single or "right" way to think, process information, or approach challenges; and that time spent agreeing what you need is time well spent.
My coaching approach is to create a working alliance that supports how you think best – rather than assuming what you need, we figure out together what conditions help you reflect, problem-solve, and make decisions
Everyone brings their own way of processing – my role is to support you in developing how you understand and move forward, not impose a particular framework
Good coaching adapts to the person, not the other way around – this means paying attention to how our conversations work best for you
The focus is on what you want to achieve in ways that make sense to you – whether through structured planning, exploratory conversation, practical experiments, or something else entirely.
Why this matters for social purpose leaders
Your work involves constant decision-making under pressure. You need coaching that works with however you naturally think through complex problems.
I work from the principle that you're the expert on your own experience. My job is to help create a space where you can think clearly about leadership challenges: navigating relationships; making strategic decisions with limited information; or managing demands on your time and attention.
My experience comes from coaching leaders with diverse perspectives and lived experience including disability, mental health challenges, neurodiversity and parenting. My aim is to offer flexible coaching because that's more effective for everyone.
I'm clear about what I am and am not qualified to help with. Workplace diagnostic assessments aren't my area, but exploring leadership development, team challenges, and sustainable approaches that align with your values – that's where we can work together effectively.

If you would like to talk through what this might mean for you or people you support I'd love to hear from you.
